Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Haselden Huggins, 64, wife of Albert True Huggins, who died Saturday afternoon at the McLeod Infirmary in Florence, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ebenezer Metrhodist Church near Hemingway by the Rev. E. B. Johnson and Rev. Leroy Caulder. Burial was in the new development of the Old Johnsonville Cemetery at Ard's Crossroads. A daughter of the late William Bennett Haselden and Millie Young Haselden of Hemingway, she was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the Women's Society of Christian Service, of which she had been made a life member this year. Mrs. Huggins taught the beginners in the Ebenezer Sunday School for many years. Active pallbearers were: DeCarr Cox, Lee Cox, Buddy Cribb, Charles Barrineau and Palmer Huggins. Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Ellis E. Bryant, Dr. H. L. Parker, Cecil Radcliff, Joe Chinnes, Herman Lentz, Emerson Ard, W. A. Lawrimore, Blue Lawrimore, Percy Lawrimore, Rufus Lawrimore, Baker Lawrimore, Harris Lawrimore, Marvin Lawrimore, Fred Lawrimore, Arthur Pope, Jay Hughes, Keble Johnson, G. W. Johnson, LeRoy Young, Courtney Lyerly, Robert Harwell, Frank Hughes, Itly Powers, Henry Ginn, Alvin Ginn, C. B. Davis and Walter Rogers. Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons, Harry W. Huggins, Albert Meridan Huggins, Bennie Clark Huggins, Phillip B. Huggins, all of Hemingway; three sisters, Mrs. M. L. Altman of Georgetown, Mrs. Hattie Rollins, Mrs. Julia Huggins, both of Hemingway; one brother, Rev. W. R. Haselden of Cloverdale, California and seven grandchildren.
