Read More	Cascade Pioneer, January 26, 1905, page 4, column 4 IN MEMORIAM Just in the honeymoon of wedded bliss when all was peace and tranquility, and future seemed to hold forth much happiness, that dread enemy, Death, (Thursday, Jan. 10, 1905) drew aside its portals and snatched from our midst one of our most talented and estimable young married women – Mrs. Dennis Kinsella. This young woman was born in Garryowen but twenty-three short years ago, where she has since resided. She won many admiring friends by her cheerful disposition and charming manner, not only in her own habitation but with all whom she came in contact. Her Maker endowed her with a beautiful gift – a rich and melodious voice, which has often been heard in the choir of her home church advantageously. But the choir was robbed of this rare vocalist last April when she entered the matrimonial sea, becoming the bride of Dennis Kinsella. This fact makes it doubly sad, having been married less than a year. She was strong in the hope of recovery and battled courageously against the insidious malady, and was the last to submit to the inevitable. But when all hope had fled she resigned herself with Christian calm and trust. Her funeral took place at 9 o’clock Saturday morning from her home in South Garryowen to St. Patrick’s church where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. McNamara, assisted by Fathers Lonergan and Halpin. The latter preached a very eloquent and touching sermon, in which he showed her as a “Beacon Light” in whose path he bade us to follow. The services at the grave were conducted by Fathers McNamara and Lonergan, where all that was mortal of our dear friend was laid to rest. The pall bearers were Patrick Howard, Patrick Connell, Wm. Leonard, Joseph Kinsella, Walter Grace and John Burke. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, and mother, Mrs. Matt. Williams, also a brother and sisters, Johnnie and Lizzie Williams. As the petals of the rose are treasured and the fragrance of the favored flower is cherished by the senses, so the beauty and character of this young woman will live in the memory of those who knew her best, and the prayers for her soul’s composure fall from the hearts of many mourning relatives and friends. Requiescat in Pace.
