Mollhoff, 95, of Tilden will be Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Buffalo Creek, with burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden. Mrs. Mollhoff died Monday June 11, 2007, at Tilden Community Hospital. Ellenor Elizabeth Mollhoff, daughter of Henry and Louisa (Krause) Martens, was born Sept. 30, 1911, at Freedom. She attended elementary school at Moorefield and high school and Concordia College in Seward. She was married to Ervin Mollhoff on April 11, 1942, at Los Angeles, Calif. Five children were born to them, Sharon, Wayne, James, Donald and Sylvia. They made their home in California, returning to Nebraska in 1945. The couple farmed southwest of Tilden until retirement. Ellenor was a lifetime member and current member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Buffalo Creek and its ladies aid and also was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Try & Do Club, served as a state board member of Farm Bureau and was a volunteer with the Orphan Grain Train. Survivors include her three sons, Wayne and Janece of Ashland, James and Holly of Cambridge and Donald and Janice of Tilden; two daughters, Sharon Grubb of Tilden and Sylvia and Richard Flowers of Mayfield, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one brother, August Martens of Scottsbluff; one sister, Lillian of North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, four sisters and a son-in-law, Stanley Grubb. Pastor David Weaver will officiate.
