Description	:	Ellis is the son of Alfred Tennyson & Alma Olive (Carlson) Hutchinson. Ellis married Evelyn Winona Zicafoose on June 18, 1936. ----- Ellis D. Hutchinson, 99, of Waverly, passed away on October 11, 2010 in Fort Worth, Texas. Ellis was born in 1911 to Alfred and Alma (Carlson) Hutchinson. He was a long time farmer who also worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant and at Burg Mfg. (later National Crane). He was a graduate of Waverly High School and also attended the University of Nebraska. Ellis was born in 1911 to Alfred and Alma (Carlson) Hutchinson. He was a long time farmer who also worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant and at Burg Mfg. (later National Crane). He was a graduate of Waverly High School and also attended the University of Nebraska. Ellis was married for 72 years to his wife Evelyn who preceded him in death. Survivors include: daughter, Beverly Williams, Fort Worth; son, Dale Hutchinson, Fort Collins, Colo.; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; plus nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Cedar Hill United Methodist Church, 22501 No. 162nd St., Ashland, NE, with Pastor John Ewton, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Family will greet friends at a visitation 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Roper and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10851 North 148th Street, Waverly, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested the Cedar Hill Church.
