Born Aug. 10, 1891, at Floodwood, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Rachael Williams McKee. She was a 1910 graduate of Nelsonville High School and taught in a one-room school house in York Twp. She was a member of New Marshfield Methodist Church and a 71 - year member of New Marshfield Order of Eastern Star, where she was past matron. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Allbaugh of New Marshfield, and Mary A. Rowlands of Dayton; a son, Paul Young of Tiffin; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild; two brothers, Garrett McKee of Portsmouth and Jess McKee of New Marshfield. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Henry Young; a son Marvin; and four sisters, Effie Davie, Stella Cagg, Zona ( Mary ) Bailey and Madge Foughty. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home, Athens, with the Revs. Helen Kline and Bruce Vincent officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reference: 10-27-1993 Athens - Messenger News Paper.
