Description	:	LAUREL Elmanda "Mandy" Mill, 84, of Laurel, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005, at her home. She was born May 8, 1920, at Bridger, a daughter of Detlef and Minna Thormahlen. She was married to Alex Mill, Feb. 26, 1938. Survivors include her husband Alex of Laurel; daughters, Dora (Ernie) Hergett, Diana (Gordie) Aisenbrey, Lynne (Lyle) Mitchell; sons, LeRoy (Rena) Mill, Bruce (Michele) Mill, Rick (Kim) Mill; two brothers, Charlie and George Thormahlen; a sister, Elfrieda Rangitsch; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was born May 8, 1920, at Bridger, a daughter of Detlef and Minna Thormahlen. She was married to Alex Mill, Feb. 26, 1938. Survivors include her husband Alex of Laurel; daughters, Dora (Ernie) Hergett, Diana (Gordie) Aisenbrey, Lynne (Lyle) Mitchell; sons, LeRoy (Rena) Mill, Bruce (Michele) Mill, Rick (Kim) Mill; two brothers, Charlie and George Thormahlen; a sister, Elfrieda Rangitsch; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herman, Walter, John, Albert, Bill, Ernest; sisters, Anna Weiss and Emma Lowman; and grandson, Russell Aisenbrey. She and Dad loved to play cards together and with anyone who came to visit. Her hands were never idle and many received the crocheted dish rags she made whether sitting at home or riding in the car. Her home was always open and a meal offered to any who came to visit. Her home welcomed many and they were treated to her wonderful foot massages and good conversation; always proclaiming the Lord and Savior and wisdom as how to help yourself naturally. She was baptized and confirmed in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School and was active in LWML of St. John's Lutheran Church, helping any way she could. It was her wish that you not spend money on flowers for her, but rather help those in need and your own church, to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ our Savior, who was her Rock and Salvation. She believed that what was gain for her was a loss to Jesus Christ. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Laurel or Big Sky Hospice. Special thanks to her church family, Pastor Pullmann, Hospice, all who cared for mom during her blood transfusions at Deaconess Clinic, her many friends and family. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Laurel, with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings.
