Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home of Ireton. Mr. Franke was born May 21, 1902, near Maurice, Iowa. He married Helma Heidbrink Feb. 14, 1926, at Ireton. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Marjorie Franke of Le Mars, Iowa, Mrs. Craig (Marilyn) Bolin of Clarksville, Iowa, and Mrs. Gaylord (Marlys) Klessig of Colorado Springs, Colo., a son, Dean, of Maurice; five grandchildren; a brother, Orin of Ireton.
