Description	:	Elmer B. Jansing, 78, of Connersville, passed away Tuesday evening, May 12, 2015 at Fayette Regional Health System. He was born August 13, 1936 in St. Mary’s, Indiana in Franklin County, one of eight children of Richard and Bertha Kruthaupt Jansing. For many years, he was employed at Design and Manufacturing and its successor’s retiring in 1994. On November 27, 1981, he was married in Jellico, TN to Joyce Killion, who survives. He was born August 13, 1936 in St. Mary’s, Indiana in Franklin County, one of eight children of Richard and Bertha Kruthaupt Jansing. For many years, he was employed at Design and Manufacturing and its successor’s retiring in 1994. On November 27, 1981, he was married in Jellico, TN to Joyce Killion, who survives. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joyce Jansing include two sons, Michael Jansing and his wife, Teresa of Brookville and James Glen Whitaker of Connersville; two daughters, Marla Jansing of Richmond and Jennifer Lyn Young and her husband, Jamie of Connersville; two sisters, Clarissa Reiner of Indianapolis, Marilyn Smith and her husband, Danny of St. Mary’s; three brothers, Irvin Jansing and his wife, Marian of St. Mary’s, Clarence Jansing and his wife, Laverne of St. Peter’s and Marc Jansing and his wife, Janie of Osgood; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bertha Kruthaupt Jansing, two brothers, Cletus and Richard Jansing and a brother-in law, Connie Reiner. Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 18, 2015 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Sunday. where the rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s of the Rock Cemetery in Franklin County. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s of the Rock Preservation Society.
