Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 22, at 1:30 p.m., at the Fremont Funeral Chapel in What Cheer, with the Rev. John Ballensky officiating. Interment was in Garrett cemetery. He later married Lucille West, in Thornburg. She later passed away January 11, 1972. Elmer was a retired farmer and lived in the Keswick and Thornburg communities all of his life.
