Description	:	Elmer E. Stoll, son of William Albert and Mary Francis (Jackson) Stoll, was born July 17, 1908, in Fulton, Iowa, and passed away at his home in Davis City, Iowa on January 6, 1985. He graduated from Lamoni High School in 1928. For a time, Elmer worked in Panama on the construction of the Panama Canal. In 1937 Elmer was married to Elva Naylor of Lamoni. Stoll, son of William Albert and Mary Francis (Jackson) Stoll, was born July 17, 1908, in Fulton, Iowa, and passed away at his home in Davis City, Iowa on January 6, 1985. He graduated from Lamoni High School in 1928. For a time, Elmer worked in Panama on the construction of the Panama Canal. In 1937 Elmer was married to Elva Naylor of Lamoni. To this union was born 3 daughters, Elva Jane; Mary; and Glenda; and 1 son, Rex. Elmer farmed most of his life south of Lamoni. He and Elva retired from farming eight years ago and moved to Davis City. Elmer was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by his father in 1919. In later years he was active in the Lamoni Lions Club and had been a long-time member of the Lamoni Sportsmen's Association. Preceding Elmer in death were his parents; a brother, Edward and sister, Nettie Nance. Survivors include his wife, Elva; three daughters. Elva Jane Olson of Emerson, Iowa; Mary Stoll and Glenda Mackey of Urbandale, Iowa, and son, Rex Stoll of Lamoni, Iowa. Also, surviving are eight grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Bierlein of Lamoni and Gertrude Ruegsegger of Wellman, Iowa, and a brother, Howard Stoll of Lamoni. He also leaves to mourn his passing many nieces, nephews. and many friends.
