Mr. Price was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Luray, and was the son of the late Elmer Harrison Price and Elza Printz Price. He was a machine operator at AVTEX and was a member of the Luray Christian Disciples of Christ Church. Read More	Elmer Harold Price, 87, of 1788 Ida Road in Luray, died Friday, June 23, 2006, at MontVue Nursing Home in Luray. Mr. Price was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Luray, and was the son of the late Elmer Harrison Price and Elza Printz Price. He was a machine operator at AVTEX and was a member of the Luray Christian Disciples of Christ Church. He served in the Army during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign from March 1942 to December 1945 as a Technician Fifth Grade. He was a certified Mess sergeant and received a Bronze Star and a certificate of Proficiency from Fort Frances E. Warren Training Center in Wyoming. He also served in Hawaii, Japan, Okanawa, and the United States. On Jan. 19, 1942, he married Eva Katheryn Seal, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Bonnie Price Ellis and Sue Carol Price Keyton, a son, Donnie Ray Price, and a sister, Mary Jane Good, all of Luray; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The Revs. Robert W. Rueter and Warren P. Brubaker will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
