Surviving is his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Judy Fee and Ronda (Steve) Palmer both of Ottumwa; a son, Rick (Wanda) Mattingley of Ottumwa; five grandchildren, Lisa (Fred) White of Broomfield, Colo., Laurie (Rob) McKinnon of Ottumwa, Amber (Dan McCrady) Hinebaugh of Elkart, Iowa, Sarah Mattingley of Ft. Collins, Colo., Joe Mattingley of Westminster, Colo.; two stepgrandchildren, Erin (Ronnie) Small and Eric (Jenn) Janes both of Ottumwa; five great-grandchildren, Ryland and Cassie Snow of Broomfield, Colo., Colton and Ryan McKinnon of Ottumwa, Liviya Harmon of Ft. Collins, Colo.; three step-great-grandchildren, Kristen White of Broomfield, Colo., Harrison and Elliott Janes of Ottumwa; a nephew, Ron Skinner of Port Orange, Fla. He was preceded in death by two great-grandsons, Samuel and David Lokenvitz; two sisters, Mary Helen Mattingley and Thelma Louise Skinner; and a brother-in-law, Joe Skinner. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Forbes officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Military services will be conducted by O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion and Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
