Dr. C. D. Winder, deputy coroner, reported that Tiedt had been under treatment in the hospital the last two weeks following a heart attack. He had responded well to oxygen treatment and was to go home Thursday. Short of Breath. Harry Levey, Parkersburg, Ia., who shared the room with him, and Levey's daughter, Mrs. D. E. Perrin, 918 Fairview avenue, who was visiting in the same room with her father reported Tiedt had complained of being short of breath. Without warning, he frantically rushed to the open window with a remark that he was being gassed. Apparently his momentum carried him through the window opening and the window screen. The two witnesses said he hung, onto the window frame momentarily, but lost his grip and fell. No Inquest. Dr. Winder said an autopsy showed that Tiedt made his fatal plunge while suffering a coronary occlusion. He said in his opinion the man lost consciousness just as he reached the window. Autopsy also showed that he suffered a fractured spine and ruptured lung as result of the fall. Dr. Winder said there would be no inquest. Death was termed as accidental. Infantile Paralysis Victim. Tiedt had been an infantile paralysis victim as a boy which had resulted in a deformity, of his spine and chest. Albert S. Tiedt, was born Oct. 28, 1915, near Readlyn,the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiedt. He had lived most of his life on a farm with his parents. He had been a partial invalid since he suffered an attack of infantile paralysis at the age of two and a half years, and had entered the hospital June 9, for treatment for a heart ailment. Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Arthur, Waverly, Ia., and Harry, at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Bartels, Waverly,. Mrs. George Leerhoff, Clarksville, and Mrs. Emil Seekatz, Waverly. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the home near Readlyn and at, 2:30 p. m. in St. John's Lutheran church in Maxfield township, Bremer county, with Rev. Albert Guetzlaff, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Denver, Ia
