Elnor was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osmond. She graduated from Osmond High School in 1952. After graduation she worked in the hospital and then attended Wayne State College. Elnor taught country school in Pierce County for 3 years and in Knox County for 2 years. On June 3, 1956 she married Donald L. Bingham. Three daughters were born; Carolyn Palu, Barbara Goede, and Diane Guthmiller. Elnor and her husband Don farmed northeast of Bloomfield all of their married life. In 1956, Elnor joined the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, member of the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School. Survivors include her husband Don; daughters, Carolyn Palu, Barbara and Jim Goede, and Diane Guthmiller; nine grandsons, Michael, Johnathan, and Andrew Palu, Nicholas and Chrissy, Jared and Aaron Goede, and Shaun, Derek, and Ryan Guthmiller; brothers, Delmer Gansebom of Osmond and Kenneth Gansebom of Carroll. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dwaine, Lloyd, and Norman; one sister, LaVern Kenny; and one grandchild, Amanda Guthmiller.
