Description	:	MUNCIE--Elsie Mae Anderson, 74, went to be with her Lord, Friday evening, March 9, 2012 at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 30, 1937 in Muncie, the daughter of Ralph and Helen Anderson. She graduated from Cowan High School and Indiana Business College. Elsie was employed at Mutual Federal Savings Bank for 42 years prior to her retirememnt in 1999. She was a very active member of Fountain Square United Methodist Church, where she was the missions and ministry chair for over ten years, member of the choir, oversaw the Food Pantry (including special times like Thanksgiving and Christmas),... Read More	MUNCIE--Elsie Mae Anderson, 74, went to be with her Lord, Friday evening, March 9, 2012 at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 30, 1937 in Muncie, the daughter of Ralph and Helen Anderson. She graduated from Cowan High School and Indiana Business College. Elsie was employed at Mutual Federal Savings Bank for 42 years prior to her retirememnt in 1999. She was a very active member of Fountain Square United Methodist Church, where she was the missions and ministry chair for over ten years, member of the choir, oversaw the Food Pantry (including special times like Thanksgiving and Christmas), and also with every activity of the church. She was also a member of 55 Alive and Single Seniors at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, and a volunteer at the 8th Street Senior Citizens Center. Elsie was devoted to her family and is survived by several cousins and a host of friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 in Fountain Square United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Brick Cemetery, Hagerstown. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Monday. Memorials may be directed to Fountain Square United Methodist Church, 4405 S. Madison St., Muncie, IN 47302.
