Description	:	Rites held for Elsie Jorgensen Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Faith Baptist Church of Kenmare, for Mrs. Elsie T. Jorgensen, 76, Kenmare and formerly of Coteau, who passed away at her home Thursday. Burial was in the Little Butte Cemetery, Coteau. Rev. Donald Fisher officiated with Clarence Petersen, Ronald Eide, Julian Lunde, David Rethmeier, James Landers and Denis Landers acting as pallbearers. Arrangements were made by Thompson-Larson Funeral Home. The former Elsie Erickson was born on April 2, 1907, at Coteau, a daughter of the late John and Anna Erickson. She was reared and educated in that area. On October 12,/ 1927, she married Carl Alfred Jorgensen. Following their marriage, they farme& in the Coteau area west of Kenmare, until moving to Kenmare in 1948. He died on February 8, 1971. Surviving is one son, Judge Donald L. Jorgensen of Dickinson; five daughters, Mrs. Irwin (Ruby) Landers of Kenmare, Mrs. Louise (Viola) Rethmeier of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Clarence (Verna) Petersen and Mrs. Julian (Lola) Lunde of Bloomington, Minn., and Mrs. Ronald (Opal) Eide of Oslo, Minn.; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There is one sister, Mrs. Inga Kallberg and one brother, Martin Erickson of Kenmare. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Rosella. From The Kenmare News
