Description	:	Elso Sangen ,72, of Adams, passed away December 9, 1959 at the Lutheran Hospital in Beatrice. He was born at Sterling, Nebr. October 16, 1887 and lived in the Sterling and Adams area all of his life with the exception of four years when homesteading in Minnesota. He was married to Dorothy Dean Tucker in Lincoln, January 1912. They farmed and operated a cafe in Adams and vicinity. Mrs. Sangen passed away in May of 1949. He was born at Sterling, Nebr. October 16, 1887 and lived in the Sterling and Adams area all of his life with the exception of four years when homesteading in Minnesota. Elso was a member of the Adams Masonic Lodge and Modern Woodman. He had lived at the Good Samaritan Rest Home in Beatrice for the past few years. Survivors are his brothers; Sientje of Lincoln, John of Sterling and sister , Mrs. Tena Elenga of Tecumseh and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held December 11 at the Adams Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Loder officiating. Interment was in the Sterling cemetery.
