On September 23, 1922 she was born on the family farm in Kaiser, Missouri the daughter of the late Weaver and Beatrice (Jeffries) George. Read More	Phillips Funeral Home, January 2015 It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Elta Faye George, 92, of Eldon, Missouri on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. On September 23, 1922 she was born on the family farm in Kaiser, Missouri the daughter of the late Weaver and Beatrice (Jeffries) George. Survivors, Brother, Nelson George of Eldon, MO Eight Nieces & Nephews and Nineteen Great Great Nieces & Nephews Faye was the second of five children and was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Frances Howser, and brothers, Russell Moore George and Leon Elson George. The family moved from Kaiser to outside of Olean, MO in March 1931 due to the building of the Osage Dam. Faye attended school in Olean and was a member of the Olean Christian Church. She spent her life helping keep the family farm running with her youngest brother Nelson George. Visitation will be Monday, January 26, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:30 PM with Rev. Jim Kruse officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Kaiser, MO. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to New Hope Cemetery or the Olean Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
