He made his home with his parents and for several years has been in a decline. Two years ago with his parents, he went to Colorado, hoping by the change of climate to receive some benefit. All that human hands could do was done, but no relief was obtainable. They returned to Iowa and again went back to their farm. His decline in health continued until the end came, and thus we have lost one who for years bid fate to live a long and happy life the comfort of his aged and highly respected parents. He will be missed, but his sufferings are over and who could wish him back. He leaves to mourn his early demise, his parent and four sisters. The funeral services were held at St Johns Church and his remains were interred in the church cemetery. CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our kind friends and neighbors for their kindness in our time of trouble and bereavement through the loss of our son and brother, Elton.
