Description	:	Daughter of Peter and Sena (Damgaard) Clausen at rural Lindsay, Nebraska. She attended school at Boone County Dist. # 20 and Platte County Dist. # 40. She was baptized and confirmed at St Ansgar Lutheran Church. On Feb. 26, 1938, she was united in marriage to Adrian Urwin at St, Ansgar, Rosenburg Church, rural Lindsay. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. She loved to sew and make baby quilts. Her hobby was writing letters, which included letters to service men through out the years. She had a pen pal as far away as Australia, some were WWII (over 65 years), Vietnam since 1968 who she visited several times in Ohio. She was proud of the fact that she was at all of her grandchildren's graduations. Survivors include her children, Elaine Vaught and husband, Tom, Bradshaw, Elvera Miller, Pierce, Dale Urwin and wife, Mary, Albion and Udine Wilton and husband, Nels of Nebraska City. Eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, two brothers, one sister, one great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandson.
