Description	:	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Jan 26, 1934 - pg 1 Mrs. Vernon Bueoy Elva Etta Palmer was born Sept 17, 1892, in Monona county (sic), Iowa and departed this life at her home near Angus, Nebr., on January 17, 1934 at the age of 41 years and four months. As a girl she came with her parents to Clay county (sic), Nebr., where she grew to young womanhood. At the age of 17 years, she was united in marriage with Vernon Bueoy of Clay Center, whose former residence had been in Monona county (sic), Iowa. As a girl she came with her parents to Clay county (sic), Nebr., where she grew to young womanhood. At the age of 17 years, she was united in marriage with Vernon Bueoy of Clay Center, whose former residence had been in Monona county (sic), Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Bueoy lived in Clay county (sic) for a number of years and about ten years ago moved to their present farm home near Angus. During the past two years Mrs. Bueoy had been in poor health and especially so during the last eight months or more in which time she was constantly confined to her bed. Although she suffered intense pain almost constantly she bore her cross of sorrow and suffering with fortitude and faith. Mrs. Bueoy leaves to mourn her untimely departure her faithful husband and five devoted children, Mrs. Alice Culbertson of Oak, Nebr., and Alvie, Ancel, Alma and Amos, all of whom are still at home. Mrs. Bueoy is also survived by two grandchildren, also by her mother, Mrs.Mabel Sherer of Clay Center, Nebr., and also by her grandfather and grandmother, also of Clay Center. She also leaves four brothers and one sister, Louis Palmer of Los Angeles, Calif.; Elmer and Ralph Palmer of Swanton, Nebr., and Mrs. Charles Martin of Hastings, Nebr. Mrs. Bueoy's father preceded her in death some seven years ago. At the age of 21 years, Mrs. Bueoy had become a member of the Christian church (sic) at Clay Center where she retained her membership through the years. Only her unwavering faith in her Lord enabled her to bear with patience and without complaint, her terrible suffering unto the end. The Bueoy family were especial (sic) friends of Rev. and Mrs. B. H. Schrader and family, having known each other for a considerable time before the Schrader family moved to Edgar to become pastor of the Edgar Christian church (sic). Together they had attended several reunions of the Bueoy family at Harvard, Nebr., where the elder Mr. and Mrs. Bueoy still reside. Rev. Schrader was a regular caller at the Bueoy home in Angus during all the time of Mrs. Bueoy's sufferings. Funeral services were held at the Angus Christian church (sic) at 2:00 o'clock Friday, January 19, Rev Schrader in charge. Interment was made in the Edgar cemetery (sic). (sic) Vernon Buoey (sic) died January 17 at her home near Angus, at the age of forty-one years and four months. She was born September 17, 1892, in Iowa, and her maiden name was Elva Etta Palmer. She with her husband and children have lived near Angus for ten years, coming there from Clay Center. She leaves besides her husband, five children: Mrs. Alice Culbertson of Oak; Alvie, Ancel, Alma and Amos at home. Funeral services were conducted at the Angus Christian church (sic) January 19, Rev. B.H. Schrader of Edgar, officiating. Interment was made in the Edgar cemetery (sic).
