Mrs. Sholty, 81, Dies Burial Set At Windfall Mrs. Elva E. Sholty, 81, a resident of the Methodist Memorial Home at Warren died at the home at 1:45 o'clock Sunday morning, following a long illness. She had resided at Windfall before she entered the home. She was born at Sharpsville. She was a member of the Windfall United Methodist Church and the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Mrs. Sholty was the widow of James H. Sholty. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Wall of Montpelier and Mrs. Sherman Bolinger and Mrs. Lyle Upchurch, both of Windfall; a son Maj. James Sholty of Goodyear, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the chapel of the home at Warren. Continued services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Windfall United Methodist Church and burial will be made in the Brookside Cemetery at Windfall. Friends may call at the chapel at the home, and the body will lie in state at the Windfall church from noon until the time of the services Tuesday. The Butler Funeral Home of Warren is in charge of the arrangements. Elva Eva and James were parents of five children: 1. Evelyn Lucille Sholty (1912-1994) 2. Captain James Edward Sholty (1921-1993) 3. Rebecca Beth Sholty (1923-1924) 10mo 4. Ruth Alice Sholty (1925-1994) 5. Eva Jean Sholty (1927-1988)
