Description	:	Elvera Marie (Schultz) Moeller (1921 - 2003) Elvera Marie Moeller was born August 12, 1921, the daughter of Louis and Mary Huebner Schultz. She passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison, Iowa at the age of eighty-one. Elvera was born on a farm near Schleswig, Iowa. She was baptized in Christ on September 18, 1921 and later confirmed on March 25, 1934 at ST. Paul Lutheran Church, Hanover Township, Charter Oak, Iowa. Read More	Elvera Marie (Schultz) Moeller (1921 - 2003) Elvera Marie Moeller was born August 12, 1921, the daughter of Louis and Mary Huebner Schultz. She passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison, Iowa at the age of eighty-one. Elvera was born on a farm near Schleswig, Iowa. She was baptized in Christ on September 18, 1921 and later confirmed on March 25, 1934 at ST. Paul Lutheran Church, Hanover Township, Charter Oak, Iowa. Elvera received her education at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Hanover Township. On September 1, 1943, Elvera was united in marriage to George Moeller at Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage in Schleswig and were blessed with the birth of six children. Elvera was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Schleswig. She enjoyed playing cards and was also a member of various card clubs. She was a strong willed woman who as a loving mother cared for and supported her family. Elvera was actively involved in all aspects of the farm operation. Elvera was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George in 1971; one daughter, Connie; one son, Larry; five siblings, Esther Rabe and her husband, Walter; Ellen Nemitz and her husband, William; Arthur Schultz; Irene Miller and her husband, Herman; and Henrietta Schmadeke and her husband, August. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Moeller and his wife Wanda, of Charter Oak; Louis Moeller and his wife Betty of Atkins, Iowa; Mark Moeller and his wife Shari of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; one daughter Carla Schmidt and her husband, Bob of Pierre, South Dakota; eleven grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Meleta Schultz of Schleswig; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig, Iowa. Rev. Lee Mentink officiated the service and grave side rites held at the Morgan Cemetery in Schleswig. Marlene Hight provided the organ accompaniment for congregational hymns "I Know that My Redeemer Lives," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Let Us Ever Walk With Jesus." Those serving as pallbearers were: Kathleen Moeller, Matthew Moeller, Allison Moeller, Nicole Moeller, Krista Schmidt, Anne Schmidt, Tyler Moeller, Jill Moeller and Lisa Moeller. The family invited everyone in attendance at the service to join them in fellowship and lunch at the church, served by the Ladies Aid.
