A daughter of Thomas and Eva Flowers Blake, she was born Sept. 24, 1878 in Leetonia and had lived in East Palestine for 40 years. She was a devoted member of the United Bretheran church. Baith, 12/11/2015: From East Palestine Daily Leader, January 8, 1947 Mrs. David Beight Answers Summons - Mrs. David Beight, aged 68, died at 1 a. m. today after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Heck, 594 West North Avenue. A daughter of Thomas and Eva Flowers Blake, she was born Sept. 24, 1878 in Leetonia and had lived in East Palestine for 40 years. She was a devoted member of the United Bretheran church. Besides her husband, whom she married in 1900, and her daughter, Mrs. Heck, she leaves a son by a former marriage, George Houser of East Palestine, a sister Mrs. Mary Eaton of Shields, Kansas, a half sister, Mrs. Elmer Cornelius of Steubenville and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. Friday in the Van Dyke funeral home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m.
