They were possibly married in Stratford, NH where her parents were living in 1850. If they married before 1850 her parents may still have been living in VT. In 1850 Hazen & Elvira were living in Stratford, NH. In 1851 in Stratford Hollow, Coos, NH they had son, John B. (per his marriage record). Her husband, Hazen, died Oct 26, 1852 at 26 years... In 1850 Hazen & Elvira were living in Stratford, NH. In 1851 in Stratford Hollow, Coos, NH they had son, John B. (per his marriage record). Her husband, Hazen, died Oct 26, 1852 at 26 years old. A death record can't be found for him but they were living in Stratford Hollow. (They never lived in Strafford, NH). He was buried in his family plot in East Randolph Cemetery in East Randolph, VT probably because they were young and couldn't afford to bury him here and his parents probably wanted him there close to them. On Jun 12, 1856 in Stratford, NH she married Noah B. Waters, son of Peter Waters and Charlotte Hatch. (His 1st wife, Harriet Ann Frye, died Dec 1, 1855.). This marriage record half the time was transcribed incorrectly as Strafford, Strafford County, NH but it was Stratford, Coos County, NH. One record clearly shows it was signed by Edward Fuller, clerk of Stratford. Sadly, Elvira died on Oct 16, 1857. (The same day her 1st husband died five years earlier). Elvira was buried here in her parents plot. In 1860 her son, John B. Tyler, was living with the Hial & Melissa (Tyler) Hatch family in Brookfield, VT. That was Hazen's sister. He married in 1874 in Concord, NH; raised a family; and died in Concord, NH on Apr 14, 1896. His marriage record correctly listed his place of birth as Stratford Hollow. His death record incorrectly listed his place of birth as Strafford, NH and incorrectly listed both his parents place of birth as Strafford. Both Hazen and Elvira were born in Orange County, VT. In 1858 Noah married Sarah A. Gaskill and she was his 3rd wife. His 4th wife was Sarah M (Folsom) Norcott. Age: 30yrs 1dy
