She was born October 1, 1932 in the Dardanelle Bottoms to the late Wallace and Kathleen Wells. She was a LPN at the Dardanelle Hospital for 44 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wallace Ray Wells; a granddaughter, Tarin Underwood and a brother-in-law, J.D. Parker. Survivors include her children, Harold Lee Underwood of Wing, James Allen Underwood of Nevada, Terry Lynn Underwood of Dardanelle, Vicki George of Dardanelle; one sister, Frances Parker of Delaware; three grandchildren, Greg and Jennifer Judkins, Nick George and fiancée Taylor Freeman, Zach Underwood; one great granddaughter, Addison Brooks Judkins; numerous family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rick Balentine and Stacey Lisenbey officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers: Larry Emberson, Kenneth Wells, Ronnie Wells, Joe Crites, Wendell Lynch, Chris Manns. Honorary Pallbearers: Drs. Nurses and Staff of Dardanelle Hospital and River Valley Medical Clinic.
