Read More	Emaline, was the daughter of Elijah Green and Diane Green. She married Sylvester Willison, on 31 Jan 1866, in Jackson county, Iowa. To this union was born: Leonard, Ollie Lucy, Flora Alta, Minnie Estalle, Bert and Alice E Willison. Emaline Green, daughter of Elijah and Diana Green, was born in Franklin county, Ohio, Nov 16, 1844 and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.C. Thornburg, near Stuart, Iowan on the morning of Oct 2nd 1918. In the fall of 1849, she moved with her parents to this state, locating near Maquoketa, where she grew to women-hood. She was married to Sylvester Willison in Andrews, Jackson county, on Jan 19, 1886, and began housekeeping near Canton, Iowa. After residing there for about five years, they moved near Center Junction, Jones county. Six years later they moved to a farm near Anita Which place was their home until eight years ago, when they sod their farm and moved to Anita. Mrs. Willison was the mother of six children, two boys and four daughters, five of whom survive her and were at her bedside when she sweetly slept away. Mrs. Willison, was very fond of her family and during the past year since her health has been so poor, she and her husband have spent most of the time in the homes of the different daughter, that she might have the love and care of her own. She was converted in Nov 1908, uniting with the Methodist Church, at this place. She was a woman of great faith. She loved the Lord and all the services of the church ever being in her place as long as her strength permitted her to attend and all during her illness she would really talk to her loved ones, saying she was praying to go Home and be at rest. She was a king, loving wife and mother and prided herself in guiding her family in the right path. Funeral services were held from the M.E. Church on Tuesday, Oct 3rd, at 2 o'clock, P.M. being conducted by her pastor who spoke most fittingly from the text, " Oh! Death where is thy Sting. Oh! grave where is thy victory". She leaves to morn her loss, her husband, S.S. Willison, Bert Willison and Mrs. Ira Ruggles of this place, Mrs. E.A. Whited of Earlham, Mrs. W.C. Thornburg, of Stuart, and Mrs. F.M. Burwell of Griswold. Also three sisters, two brothers, many grandchildren and a host of friends. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
