York New Salem, May 19- Mrs Emaline Sarah Jane Brenneman, widow of Adam Brenneman, died suddenly at her home in North Codorus township near this place this morning about 4:30 o'clock. She was found dead in her bed by her son, Henry Brenneman. Mrs Brenneman retired last evening apparently in her usual state of health and made no complaint of feeling ill. York New Salem, May 19- Mrs Emaline Sarah Jane Brenneman, widow of Adam Brenneman, died suddenly at her home in North Codorus township near this place this morning about 4:30 o'clock. She was found dead in her bed by her son, Henry Brenneman. Mrs Brenneman retired last evening apparently in her usual state of health and made no complaint of feeling ill. When her daughter in law got up about 4:20 o'clock this morning she looked into Mrs. Brennemans room and found her sleeping and breathing naturally. Mrs Brenneman was somewhat afflicted with Asthma and sometimes breathed with difficulty. At 5 o'clock her son awoke and when he found that his mother, who was accustomed to arising early, was still in bed went to investigate. He found his mother dead. Dr. O.A. Della was summoned, but there was nothing he could do but confirm the death. Mrs. Brenneman was 70 years of age. Her husband was buried 3 weeks ago today. She leaves the following children; Harry Brenneman who lived with his mother; Albertus Brenneman North Codorus Township; and Mrs William Sheffer, of York. She leaves also the following brothers and sister; Frank J. Beck and Mrs. Elsworth Sweltzer North Codorus twp, and Emanuel Sweltzer, Farmers. The funeral will be held on Saturay afternoon with the Rev Fred S. Geesey officiating.
