The deceased was born in Wayne County, Ind. on October 27, 1845 and died in Creighton, Nebr. on May 26, 1929 at the age of 83 years and 7 months, lacking one day. Read More	Mrs. Emeline Reynolds_Summoned by Death Following a lingering illness of several years duration, death came to relieve the suffering of Mrs. Emeline Reynolds at the home in Creighton on Sunday morning at 4 o'clock. The deceased was born in Wayne County, Ind. on October 27, 1845 and died in Creighton, Nebr. on May 26, 1929 at the age of 83 years and 7 months, lacking one day. In 1856 she came with her parents to Appanoose County, Iowa, where she spent her girlhood. On August 31, 1865 she was united in marriage to Thomas Marshall Reynolds. To this union nine children were born, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral services. In 1877 they moved to eastern Nebraska and later came to Knox County in 1881 and Creighton in 1909, where she has continuously resided until her death. The children who survive are Mr. C.C. Cleveland, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. H. Taylor, Plainview; Mrs. Seth Bird, Crocker, Mo.; Mrs. Rodney Manning, Ashton, Idaho; Mrs. A.A. Logan, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. Lawrence Hosking, Vivian, S.D.; George F. Reynolds, Creighton; Alvah Reynolds, Murdo, S.D.; Thomas E. Reynolds, Piedmont, S.D. She also leaves to mourn 19 grandchildren and 121 great grandchildren. Mrs. Reynolds was a devoted Christian woman and was a member of the Baptist church. She always professed her faith in Christ. Of an unassuming and quiet disposition, Mrs. Reynolds reared a large family of children at the farm home east of Creighton and in recent years was a resident of this city, where she met and visited with her many friends for years. Her passing will grieve the many, whose pleasure was made enjoyable by the friendly character of her, who now reposes in death. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon from the Congregational church at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. DeBenham of Spencer, who delivered a very fitting eulogy of the life of this esteemed pioneer woman. A large concourse of friends gathered to pay their final tribute to the deceased. The remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery. The News with friends extends expressions of sympathy to the bereaved family in this, their hour of deep sorrow. ...The Creighton News 30 May 1929
