Description	:	Emil J. Stone was born in Parish of Edsberg, State of Nerike [not clear, maybe Norike] in Sweden, August 7, 1872 and died at his home near Central City, Nebr. June 12, 1915 after a short illness. Age 42 years, 10 months and 5 days. He emigrated from Sweden to this country in March 1892. First locating at Tabor, Fremont county Iowa. Stone was born in Parish of Edsberg, State of Nerike [not clear, maybe Norike] in Sweden, August 7, 1872 and died at his home near Central City, Nebr. June 12, 1915 after a short illness. Age 42 years, 10 months and 5 days. He emigrated from Sweden to this country in March 1892. First locating at Tabor, Fremont county Iowa. In the spring of 1894 he with his brother Charley removed to and located near Palmer, this county, where he resided for nine years. In the spring of 1903 he removed to the farm on which he has resided until his death. At the age of fifteen he united with the Swedish Lutheran church of which he remained a member until his death. He was united in marriage to Miss Hannah Larson on March 6, 1897. To this union five children were born. Martin, Grace, Roy, Esther and Norma, who with their mother survive him. He also leaves his father, mother and three sisters in Sweden and five brothers in this country. Charley of Coon Rapids, Iowa, Alfred of Gothenberg, Nebr., Gottfrid and Axel of Palmer, Nebr., and Swen of Hordville, Nebr. besides many other relatives and friends who mourn his untimely departure. Funeral services were held in the Fairview church north of Central City, Nebr. at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon June 15, 1915 conducted by the Pastor Rev. Moore of Archer. Interment took place in the Burk (sic) Cemetery. Several relatives and friends from a distance attended the funeral services. The throng that attended the services and accompanied the body to its final resting place attest the esteem in which Mr. Stone was held in the community.
