Description	:	Emil Kouba Jr. "the son of Emil and Emma (Silhacek) Kouba was born March 4, 1926, in Pierce County. He attended rural School District 56 in Pierce County. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater from 1955-46. On June 19, 1947, he married Mary Voigt at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. The couple farmed near Pierce until moving into Norfolk in 1953 He worked for Dinkel Implement in Norfolk, then later ran a milk route in the Norfolk area until 1967. He was survived by 2 sons, his mother, 3 brothers, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. "He was preceded in death by his wife in 1994, his father, two sons, one granddaughter and one brother."
