Description	:	Emil Vavak was born January 4, 1923 and passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 1928 at the tender age of 5 years, 9 months and six days. The little fellow was taken with convulsions on the day of his death and, although all that tender care and medical aid could do was done, the grim reaper claimed another flower to bloom in the heavenly gardens. The little fellow was taken with convulsions on the day of his death and, although all that tender care and medical aid could do was done, the grim reaper claimed another flower to bloom in the heavenly gardens. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Vavak and family live nine miles west of Verdigre. Besides the mourning parents, he is survived by three little sisters. An infant brother, Lawrence, died in 1919. His parents and sisters will miss Emil very much. Funeral services were held from the home, Friday afternoon, Oct. 12th at 2:00, conducted by Mr. Joseph Broz. Interment was made in the Jelen cemetery. A large number of relatives and friends attended the services. There were many beautiful floral tributes. The Citizen joins with the entire community in extending sincere condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family. Card of Thanks We desire to return our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the many kind neighbors and friends who assisted us during our recent bereavement in the death and burial of our beloved son, Emil Vavak. Also to those who contributed the lovely flowers at the funeral. We assure you that we will ever cherish your manifold kindnesses in fond and grateful remembrance.
