Description	:	Emily Blanch Herron was born to Mary Brady and Patrick Herron at Meadville, Nebr. on March 30, 1890 and passed away at the Bethel Nursing Home in Ainsworth on Sept. 17, 1968 at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 16 days. She was christened into the Catholic church when a baby. At 12 years of age she moved with her parents to Wood Lake, Nebr. there she attended school. She was christened into the Catholic church when a baby. At 12 years of age she moved with her parents to Wood Lake, Nebr. there she attended school. She was united in marriage to Dewey Wheeler in November 1925. They lived a few years around Aberdeen, So. Dak. later moving south of Long Pine where they engaged in ranching. In 1942 Dorothy and Dale were adopted and made their home with them. Also they were appointed guardian to James, a brother of Dorothy and Dale. On Oct. 1, 1951 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Wenzel. For the past 15 1/2 years she has made her home with Ivan and Connie White due to ill health. After suffering several strokes she entered the nursing home May 1. Her parents, 5 sisters, Elizabeth Larsen, Catherine Williams, Ella Mae Greenough, Anna Taft, Margaret Biltoft, and two brothers, John and Frank Herron preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn a daughter, Dorothy Wolfe, Oshkosh, Nebr., a son Dale Wheeler of Lincoln, Nebr., James Hilderbrane, Stuttgart, Germany, 2 nephews, Ivan White, Ainsworth and George White, Willow Springs, Mo. Seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Rosary was held Monday evening at the Wisda Funeral with services on Friday morning at 9:30 at the St. Pius Church with Father Donald O'Brien officiating. Miss Vel Koch was in charge of music. Pallbearers were Darwin Bower, Rueben Wallace, William Clay, Earl Edwards, Edward Greenough and Gerdon Wheeler. Relatives and friends from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wolfe and Teri, Oshkosh. Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wheeler and family, Lincoln, Mrs. Ed Wayman, Lawndale, Calif., Mrs. Loyd Herfel, Bayard, Nebr. and Mrs. Ray Herrington, Rose. Nebr.
