Description	:	MAN AND WIFE BOTH DIED THE SAME WEEK (Broken Bow News) T. R. C. Allen died of pneumonia at his home, five miles south of Broken Bow, March 6, 1928. Mr. Allen was better known as Tommy. He was born the fifth day of April, 1872, near Little Rock, Arkansas. His wife, Emily L. Allen, died on March 10, 1928. Allen died of pneumonia at his home, five miles south of Broken Bow, March 6, 1928. Mr. Allen was better known as Tommy. He was born the fifth day of April, 1872, near Little Rock, Arkansas. His wife, Emily L. Allen, died on March 10, 1928. She was born in Coosa county, Alabama, September 14, 1872.They were united in marriage July 5, 1897. To this union was born seven children, four of them dying in infancy. The surviving children are George Richard, age 27; Dallas, age 11; Marande, age 7; and two small grandsons. They were united to the Baptist church in the year 1900. Mr. Allen is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Maudie Hallums, Garvin; Mrs. Etta Avery, Wright City; Mrs. Fanny Wilkins, Alex; Mrs. Rosy Sims, Hugo. Mrs. Allen is survived by three brothers and four sisters, T. A. Roberson, Hochatown; William Roberson, Fordyce, Ark.; Agbert Roberson, Clebit; Mrs. Fanny Rose, Gilliam, Ark.; Mrs. Annie Murphy, Grannis, Ark.; Mrs. Carrie Mooney, Warren, Ark. They were buried in the Broken Bow cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. W. Hanselman, pastor of the Nazarene church. The whole community extends sympathy to the many distant relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Allen had lived in Oklahoma sixteen years, having many friends in Hochatown.
