Burial will be in the Wessington Cemetery. Emily E. Sedam was born Jan. 25, 1892, to Robert B. and Carrie Sedam at St. Lawrence. She took nurses training at Pierre. She married Arthur C. Ross, June 10, 1920, at Vayland. They lived at Wessington until 1924 when they moved to Miller. In 1931 they moved to Rapid City and in 1931 went to Sioux Falls where they operated a drug store until their retirement in 1969 when they moved to Huron. Survivors are two sons, Gerald of Volga and Robert of Medford, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Florence Brown, Huron, Bertha Carlton, Corona, Calif. and Vernice Nolt, Cottage grove, Ore. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971, one son Carr Lynn, brother, Robert Sedam and two sisters, Helen Sedam and Grace Brown.
