Emma's obituary notice, recorded in the Mount Carmel Cemetery Record Book on page 55, follows: "Mrs. Emily Stansberry, wife of Orrin Stansberry, and a daughter of Mr. John Gurr, married February 23, 1882. Died Sunday June 28, 1885. Buried June 30. Aged 32 years, 4 months, 6 da6s. Leaves one child. Died of consumption." |
