Description	:	Emily Leona Wilbanks Southern, 85, of 3722 Southern Lane, widow of Harold James Southern, died August 18, 2014 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Smiley and Pearl Smith Wilbanks, she was a retired employee of Fiber Industries and a member of Harmony Fellowship. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Ronnie Moon of Greer and Patricia and Keever Westmoreland of Taylors; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Southern of Greer; two brothers, Rex Wilbanks of Taylors and Lecile Wilbanks of Greer; three sisters, Bobbie Tucker of Taylors, Louise Few of Greer and Brenda Collins of Taylors; three grandchildren, Cindy Jordan, Neal Vaughn and Brandy Patel; three great-grandchildren, Gage Vaughn, Meghan Hall and Kyndal Smith; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Southern was predeceased by a son, Bruce Southern and five sisters. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Dan Smith and Rev. Keith Hannon. Burial will follow in Faith Temple Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of her daughter, Sandra Moon, 812 Cumberland Drive, Greer, SC 29651.
