Mrs. Emily Crafts Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Crafts were held Friday afternoon at her late home. The Rev. Earl Beal conducted a prayer service at the house, and at the cemetery. Crafts was born in Lowell, Vt. on May 19, 1862, the daughter of James and Mary Edwards. On September 17, 1882, she was united in marriage with Samuel A. Crafts, at Johnson, Vt. To them were born four children, Leslie J., Clyde, who died in 1920, Lela (Mrs. Albert Cummings) and Allen, deceased in 1934. After their own children were grown up they adopted Helen, (Mrs. Roy Ames). Among those from out of town attending the service were Warren Crafts of Bradford, Vt., Mrs. Mary Brigham, Mrs. and Mrs. Jewett Crafts from Newport, Vt., Mrs. Josie Crafts from Concord, Mrs. Kenneth Reid of Chelmsford, Mass., Miss Emma Cummings of Concord, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cummings of Lancaster.
