Description	:	DIED. CRESAP—In Shelbyville, Mo., July 26th, 1873, Emily M. Cresap, aged seventy-four years. The deceased came to this place last April, from Cumberland, Md., to reside with her sister, Mrs. W. J. Holliday, where she remained until her death. The funeral services were conducted last Sunday by Rev. Duncan Brown, who preached an appropriate sermon from the text "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord," etc., to a large congregation at the M. E. Church, South. She was about 74 years of age. Having never married, she determined to leave the mountain scenes of her youth and live and die with her much-loved sister in Shelbyville.
