Description	:	Emma Anna Heins, nee Dallegge, was born November 15, 1883 near Garrison, Nebraska. On December 16, 1883 she was baptized into the Christian faith at the Lutheran Church near Millerton. This faith she confirmed by the rite of confirmation on April 3, 1898 in the Millerton Lutheran Church. She remained faithful in the faith on her Lord Jesus, until her end. On December 16, 1883 she was baptized into the Christian faith at the Lutheran Church near Millerton. This faith she confirmed by the rite of confirmation on April 3, 1898 in the Millerton Lutheran Church. She remained faithful in the faith on her Lord Jesus, until her end. On June 3, 1908 she was united into the bonds of holy wedlock with Mr. Jacob Heins. This union was blessed with two children: Mrs. Mildred Anderson and Harold. Since their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Heins resided on a farm near Garrison. For the last three years Mrs. Heins has been failing health, the last 5 ½ months being bedfast. On August 8, 1940 after much suffering and pain, she peacefully fell asleep in Jesus, who was her One and All, in Life and Death. Her earthly pilgrimage numbers 56 years, 9 months and 23 days. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, two children, Mildred and Harold; her aged mother, Mrs. Augusta Dallegge; one brother, Fred, near David City; two grandsons: Norman and Lee: 28 nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, near Garrison, the Rev. H. Spuade officiating. The preacher preached on the text: John 11 v. 25 & 26, which the deceased cherished as her one and only hope and faith in life and death. The Zion Lutheran choir sang “What a Friend we have in Jesus”: “Heaven Is My Home” and a duet by Doris Hunsche and Virginia Ostermeier, “Let Not Your Heart be Troubled”. Flower girls were Arlene and Leola Heins; Marjorie and Genevieve Sanley. Pall-bearers: John Sanley, John Martens, Laverne Heins, Paul, Victor and Carl Hinze. Interment was made in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Emma was the daughter of Fredrick Herman Dallegge and Augusta Hinze Dallegge. Fredrick was born February 12, 1855 and died April 10, 1923. Augusta was born in 1857 and died in 1948. Both are buried in the Faith East cemetery.
