Description	:	Emma Daniels, daughter of Thomas and Susanna Daniels, was born at Penacamau, Llantrissant County, near Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales, on March 4, 1856, and passed away at her home near Pleasanton, Nebraska, February 27, 1943, at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 23 days. In August, 1873, at the age of seventeen, she came to Canada with her parents. The following spring she came to the States and on March 12, 1874 at Oquauka, Illinois was married to James T. Read More	Emma Daniels, daughter of Thomas and Susanna Daniels, was born at Penacamau, Llantrissant County, near Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales, on March 4, 1856, and passed away at her home near Pleasanton, Nebraska, February 27, 1943, at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 23 days. Reese, who had previously emigrated from the same community in England. After living in Illinois and Kansas, they came to Pleasanton in 1881, where she has made her home for the last sixty-two years. To this union were born nine children. She was preceded in death by her husband and three children: Ercil and Flod, who died in infancy, and Mrs. Lillie Reynolds. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, George and Clyde, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Hart and Mrs. LouVera Darby of Pleasanton; Mrs. Anna Rubart and Mrs. Mary Pearson of Kearney; three brothers and one sister in Toronto Canada, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter, besides a host of relatives and friends. She was baptized in the Church of England and was one of the founders and a member of the Pleasanton U. B. Church since its organization. Emma gave many days of care to the sick and was especially interested in the welfare of children, having made a home for many besides her own family. Ray, Clarence, and Walter Reese, Chauncey Asher, Ed Talbot and Harold Bauer were pallbearers.
