Bremer, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Wichelet Jeske, was born at Adrian, Minnesota on December 24, 1891. Her death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on December 13, 1978, having attained the age of 86 years, 11 months and 19 days. She had resided with her parents in several locations, before they settled in York County. There were residing there when she graduated from York High School with the class of 1912. Following her graduation she taught school in York County. On September 12, 1916 she was united in marriage to Carl T. Bremer at York. They established their home on a farm near York, where they farmed until 1919, when they moved to a farm northwest of Aurora. They farmed in this vicinity until their retirement on January 3, 1957, when they moved into Aurora. Her husband preceded her in death on July 1, 1970. Mrs. Bremer was a longtime member of the Federated Church and was active in attendance and the affairs of the church as long as her health permitted. She was also a member for many years of the HEO Club. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Her survivors are her two daughters, Mary Jean Bermer of Vermillion, South Dakota and Elizabeth Bremer of Omaha; brothers, Clarence Jeske of Eugene, Oregon and Albert Jeske of Oceanside, California; sister, Mrs. Martha Fulton of Fresno, California and other relatives and many close friends who will cherish her memory.
