Description	:	Emma Elizabeth Campbell, a gentle, loving soul, has passed on to be with her long awaited loved ones on March 13, 1999. Born Emma Elizabeth McKee to David and Martha McKee on August 7, 1905, at Montezuma, Iowa. On November 21, 1910, her mother Martha passed away after an extended illness. She was raised by her father and a loving stepmother Jenny Hicks McKee. Emma married Leonard Henry "Bud" Campbell on November 29, 1929, in Montezuma, Iowa. Born Emma Elizabeth McKee to David and Martha McKee on August 7, 1905, at Montezuma, Iowa. On November 21, 1910, her mother Martha passed away after an extended illness. She was raised by her father and a loving stepmother Jenny Hicks McKee. Emma married Leonard Henry "Bud" Campbell on November 29, 1929, in Montezuma, Iowa. A daughter Norma Emma joined their union on August 31, 1931, in the spring of 1934 they moved to the Twisp Valley where they set up a logging business that spanned over the next 30 years. They moved to Brewster and made their home there until August 1997 when Emma moved to Wenatchee to lived with her grandson, Dennis Poole. Emma, a long standing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brewster, was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved being with her great-great-grandchildren. For the last four months Emma was being cared for by a loving staff at Parkside Care Center in Wenatchee where she quietly passed away. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Campbell in February 1987, daughter Norma Campbell Poole and four brothers, Albert, John, Walter and Bob McKee. She is survived by two grandsons, Dennis Poole and his wife Leslie of Wenatchee, Leonard Poole and his wife Anita of Portland, Oregon; one granddaughter, Patrice Bise of Cheney; eight great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; three nieces, Nina Current, Inez Wells and Elsie Agnew all residing in Iowa. Graveside services were held 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at the Brewster Cemetery. Mr. Dennis Poole will officiate. Services under the care of Betts Funeral Services, Wenatchee.
