Read More	Bluffton, Indiana Bluffton Chronicle Wednesday, May 25, 1910 - P1C7 Mrs. Warthman's Funeral Sunday Afternoon Death Of Craigville Lady Came After An Illness Of Three Months Mrs. Emma Abbot Warthman, wife of Charles Warthman, of Craigville, of whose death brief mention was made Friday, passed away Friday about twelve o'clock after a sickness covering more than three months. Her death was immediately due to lung trouble, which had its beginning shortly after the birth of her infant daughter twelve weeks ago. Mrs. Warthman was forty years of age and was born in Shelby County, Ohio. She was married in Mercer County, Ohio, about twenty years ago to Charles Warthman. Two years after her marriage she and her husband moved to this county where they settled in the vicinity of Craigville. They were preceded to this county by her parents and her brothers and sisters, who moved a year before she and her husband lift their Ohio home. They have continued to reside in the vicinity ever since and are numbered among the highly respected and well-known residents of the county. Mr. Warthman is one of the extensive land owners of his part of the county, owning three eighty-acre farms and one forty-acre farm. Mr. and Mrs. Warthman are the parents of nine children - Wilmer, Ethel, Zetta, Chauncey, Louis, John, Nellie and two other younger children. Mrs. Warthman is also survived by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. D. W. Abbott, of Craigville, and one sister and six brothers - Rosie, wife of Amy Herrick, of Craigville, Alfred, Elmer, Nelson and Merritt, of Craigville and Arthur and Edgar, of this city. Mrs. Warthman was a devout and faithful member of the Craigville U. B. church. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and were in charge of Rev. Mullikin at the U. B. church.
