Most of her childhood was spent in and around Chester where she became a member of the Chester Christian church (sic) and was active in the group until after she moved to Hebron, when she placed her membership in the Hebron Christian Church on August 5, 1951. Most of her childhood was spent in and around Chester where she became a member of the Chester Christian church (sic) and was active in the group until after she moved to Hebron, when she placed her membership in the Hebron Christian Church on August 5, 1951. She remained faithful until her death. After her father's death, while she was still a child, she spent considerable time in the home of the John Brambaugh's. In 1905 she was married to Forrest E. Chick at Fairbury, Neb. Shortly after their marriage they moved to a farm south of Chester, where they lived until 1941 when they moved to a farm east of Hebron, which was their home until Mr. Chick's death on November 5, 1953. Preceding her in death, also, were a daughter, Alta, a son, Gomer, an infant daughter and four sisters. She was married to Elmer Holmes of Byron, November 24, 1954. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Elmer Holmes; a son, Kermit Chich of ElMonte, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Lena Brunsilina of Belleville, Kan.; two brothers, Jake Eurick of Van Coves, Wash, and Gottfrey Eurick of Oakland, Cal.; a half-brother, Albert Rodtke of Fairmont, Neb.; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Hebron Christian church (sic) with the Rev. L.W. Chamberlain officiating. Burial was in the Chester Cemetery - Hebron Journal-Register
