Description	:	Mrs Emma Drew, better known here as Miss Emma Framer, who made her home with her sister, Mrs Charles Pleshek while here, died in a hospital at Kansas City, Missouri, after a brief illness which resulted in pneumonia. Read More	Mrs Emma Drew, better known here as Miss Emma Framer, who made her home with her sister, Mrs Charles Pleshek while here, died in a hospital at Kansas City, Missouri, after a brief illness which resulted in pneumonia. Mrs Drew was born at Chelsea, Iowa July 18, 1886. She grew to womanhood there and made a wide circle of friends. A number of years ago she went to Wayne, Nebraska where she was employed for three years as a milliner in a department store, following which she went to Excelsior Springs, Missouri where she met Elba H Drew to whom she married March 7, 1917, at Tulsa, Oklahoma. After the wedding the couple moved to Kansas City, where Mr Drew was employed by a large roofing company. Mr and Mrs Drew were the parents of one son, who was born January 21, 1918. Besides her husband and son, Mrs Drew is survived by her parents, Mr and Mrs Frank Framer of Chelsea, together with three sisters and two brothers. The latter are Mrs Josephine Shurtleff of Belle Plaine, Mrs Mary Kenner of Marshalltown, Mrs Anna Pleshek of State Center and Frank and Joe Framer of Chelsea. The body was brought to Chelsea Friday and funeral services were conducted at the M E church there on Saturday by the pastor Rev Berfe. Interment was made in the Odd Fellow cemetery. Mr and Mrs Charles Pleshek and son Lyle went to Chelsea Friday to be present at the funeral. April 4, 1918 State Center Enterprise.
