Clough, 84, of Winchester, died Friday evening at the Cheshire Medical Center- Dartmouth Hitchcock, after a brief period of failing health. She was born in Winchester, January 15, 1927, the daughter of Walter and Sophie (Zwolinski) Minatt and had graduated from Thayer High School in 1946. She was a lifelong resident of Winchester and worked at Kulick's Market for over 60 years. She married Walter E. Clough, II in February of 1947, enjoying 40 years of marriage before his death in 1987. Mrs. Clough was an avid reader. She enjoyed time at the family cottage on Lake Kilamok in Springfield, NH, and it was always a great time when the family was able to gather there. She enjoyed making hooked rugs and doing cross stitching and she also collected owl themed items. However, having the family together, especially at holiday times, such as Christmas, brought her great happiness. Mrs. Clough was the Treasurer of the Winchester VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #3968 for over 20 years, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Keene American Legion Post #4. She was a member of the Ashuelot Valley Blazers snow mobile club, and enjoyed bowling with the Kulick's Market Bowling league team at the Community Center. She is survived by her two daughters; two sons; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; as well as a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter and a sister, Theresa Tacy. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro St, Keene. Calling Hours will be held for an hour before the service from 10:00 until 11:00. Burial will follow the service in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester. Family and friends are invited. In Lieu of Flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mrs. Emma Clough's name to either the Winchester Ambulance / EMS, 6 Parker St, Winchester, NH 03470 or to the American Cancer Society, (www.cancer.org) P.O.
