The decedent, better known in the Traer neighborhood as Emma Podhajsky, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Podhajsky, of this community, and was born in Carroll township April 1, 1897. She was educated in the rural schools and was married to John Dostal on November 25, 1919. The couple made their home in Howard township and became the parents of three children, all of whom, with her husband and father, survive. The children are Alfred, 15 years old; Evelyn, 13; and Richard, 5. Mrs. Dostal also is survived by her parents; four brothers, James, Will, Milo and Rudolph Podhajsky; and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Seda and Mrs. J. J. Podhajsky. The funeral was held Wednesday at St. Vaclav church, west of Clutier, of which the decedent was a member. The Rev. Father Thomas Vopatek, of Clutier, w as in charge. Music was furnished by the church choir. Burial was in St. Vaclav cemetery. Pall bearers were Emil Sebesta, Fred Yuska, Joe Pokorney, George Podhajsky, Emil Podhajsky and Louis Podhajsky.
