Description	:	Mrs. Emma Geyer, a resident of Swan Township the past twelve years, was stricken by death Friday mourning at 2:00, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.R. Graber and family, after a long ilness from paralysis followed by heart disease which was the cause of her demise. Funeral services were held in the Swan M.E. church, Sunday morning at 9 O'clock, Rev. Gruber of Huntertown officiating. Emma Jane Coe Geyer was born in Wood county, Ohio, December, 20, 1846, and died October, 1, 1915, aged 68 years, nine months and 11 days. She was united in marriage to John W. Geyer, March, 17, 1871. To this union were born four children, George J. of Robinson, Ill., Charles F. of Rising Sun, Oh., and Mrs. James Hoot and Mrs. M.R. Graber of Swan Township all of whom survive her. Her husband preceeded her in death in 1893, at Murfreesboro, Tenn. At an early age she joined the Methodist Episcopal church at Rehobeth, Oh., of which she was a faithful member until her death. She leaves to mourn their loss, four children, nine grand children, two brother, four sisters and a host of friends.
