Description	:	Mrs. Emma Jane Day, 77, one of the pioneer Christian women of Windfall, died Saturday evening at Dayton, Ohio. The deceased was the daughter of Josiah and Mary Ann Castor Gauntt and was born in Wayne county, August 3, 1864. She was married to John C. Day, Jan. 22, 1881. For many years, Mr. Day was editor of the old Windfall Herald and Mrs. Day was active in the Windfall Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. Day were the parents of five children, three of whom are deceased. Frank and Clara died in infancy and a son, Jess, died in 1919. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. B.B. Perry, of Kokomo; one son, H. Jerome Day, of Dayton; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clara Stonebraker, of Milton; and one brother, Jess Gauntt, of Hagerstown.
